Dragon boats will be racing down the Great Ouse Relief Channel later in the summer as part of the Downham Water Festival.
This exotic Chinese tradition will be part of the eight water festival, which will be held on Sunday, August 10.
Thousands of people are expected to descend on the river bank to watch the racing along with enjoying a host of land based activities including arena displays, fun fair rides, and stalls.

Preparations are well ahead for the Hilgay Raft Race, which will be held on Sunday, July 13.
Organisers are hoping to see scores of rafts charging and barging down the River Wissey.
