Members and helpers from a day centre were transported to a dessert island during a trip to the pantomime.
Pensioners who attend Silverdale Day Centre enjoyed watching Downham Amateur Dramatic Society perform Robinson Crusoe and the Pirates on Sunday afternoon.
Members of the cast later came into the auditorium to meet members of the day centre, which is based in Churchill Way, Downham.
After the pantomime, members and helpers were treated to afternoon tea in the town’s Conservative Club.
The outing was provided by Downham Lions.
Dorothy Dane, who runs the Day Centre, said: “We all had a marvellous afternoon and our members enjoyed meeting the cast at the end of the show. All the front of house staff, crew and cast showed exceptional kindness to our group which was really appreciated and made a very special day out. Without the generosity of the Lions Club we would not have been able to put on this outing.”
