A man had his mini motorcycle seized when he was caught riding it without insurance near a village school.
Police in Downham have warned owners machines will be seized if they do not have the proper documentation following the incident near Magdalen Primary School on December 12.
A 20-year-old man was stopped on the recreation ground near the school and is now set to face prosecution.
Downham beat manager, PC David Mallett, said: “The potential consequences of a rider losing control at speed in such close proximity to a primary school are unthinkable.
“Those who ride uninsured vehicles in public can expect to have them seized and face prosecution for the safety of the community.”
