Plans for building improvements at a Downham primary school, which officials say would help to improve access to the site, have been submitted to borough council planners.
An application has been put forward which, if approved, would see an existing timber link corridor at the Hillcrest Primary School replaced with a cavity wall construction.
The application has been submitted by Norfolk County Council, whose officials say that the new development would take up the same space as the current link.
A report submitted as part of the application added: “The proposal will provide level and ramped access to ensure inclusive access for all.”
The plan, which was submitted to West Norfolk Council last week, will now be assessed by officers.
