Lynn Museum is preparing to bring the Ancient Egyptians to life this summer holiday with a fantastic family event next Tuesday, July 29, in celebration of the Festival of British Archaeology.

Visitors will have the opportunity to build their own pyramid to take home, marvel at genuine Egyptian artefacts and meet the famous Howard Carter, who discovered Tutankhamen’s tomb.

Adventurous visitors can also enjoy the challenge of the Hidden Egyptians Trail, with prizes available for those who successfully locate the hidden items.

Activities start at 11am and run through until 2pm, with event admission at £2 per person or £1.50 for Friends and Museum Pass Holders. For further information please visit www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk/Vist_Us/Lynn_Museum or telephone 01553 775001
