A 100-year-old Denver woman died after a fall, an inquest in Lynn heard yesterday.
Elsie Renshaw, who lived in Sluice Road in the village, died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn on November 18 last year.
Norfolk Coroner Jacqueline West heard evidence that the cause of death was bleeding on her brain.
Mrs Renshaw, who was described as a determined woman, was said to have had a history of falls.
She was admitted to hospital after being found on the floor at her home and subsequently fell again in hospital.
Mrs Lake recorded a verdict that Mrs Renshaw died as a result of a brain haemorrhage due to a head injury she suffered when she fell.
Her injury was also found to have been exacerbated by old age and dementia.
