Two Fakenham businesses have combined to stage a wedding show in the town’s parish church.
Brides of Norfolk on the market square and Keith Osborn Photography, whose studio is on the outskirts of the town, will be promoting all aspects of the wedding day in the church on Saturday, February 1, from 10am to 4pm.
Donna Proctor-Wood, who runs Brides of Norfolk said: “We are intending to make this as much like a real wedding experience as possible. It will be bright, colourful and exciting and there will be something for everyone, including the prospective groom.
“We will also be making one or two special offers that people can’t afford to miss.”
Keith Osborn added: “We will be showcasing genuine local businesses to all those couples planning to get married in and around Fakenham. We would particularly like people to realise they can get everything they need for a really wonderful wedding from local, friendly and affordable businesses.”
The church itself will be decorated on the day, there will be live music, a bridal fashion catwalk, flowers, decorated tables, tasters of wedding cakes and wedding favours – and even a toastmaster doing his thing.
A wedding-themed raffle with prizes worth up to £50 has been sponsored by all the exhibitors.
The Fakenham Wedding Show is being organised in association with Fakenham Area Business Community and will feature more than 20 local participants.
