Fire investigators are looking into the causes of a bungalow fire in Hunstanton during the early hours of this morning (Friday, July 25).
Five crews were called to a home in Chatsworth Close at 4am.
People living close to the bungalow saw flames and smoke billowing out of the roof the semi-detached bungalow.
One neighbour Linda Dear said: “I came out of the front door about 4am and saw big flames coming from the bungalow.
“The flames were very high and it seemed to take an age for the fire engine to come.
“It was a frightening experience. I have never ever come across a house fire before. You see and hear about it on the television and think it must be awful. Never have I experienced anything like the muck and bits and the smell was awful.”
Another neighbour Catherine Guy was woken up at 3am as her husband is in the fire brigade.
Crews were also called to a workshop fire at former RAF West Raynham base.
