A fundraiser went through the pain barrier to raise hundreds of pounds for the special care baby unit at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital which cared for her.

Justine Cotton, second right, handed over a cheque for £550, which she raised when she completed the Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR) last month despite an injury.

Justine, 19, said she picked up a hip injury a week before the race.

She added: “I later found out I shouldn’t have run.”
