Thoughts of Christmas were set aside for Howard Junior School’s Harvest Festival celebration and collection in aid of the Purfleet Trust in Lynn.

Deputy headteacher Andrew Prior said the trust, which helps homeless people, benefited from the most donations ever.

“Children and parents really dug deep and contributed a range of food,” said Mr Prior.
