Members of Lynn and District Osteoporosis Group will be able to continue having vital exercise classes following two donations.

Julian Cox, front centre, presented two cheques – worth a total of £400 – to the group on behalf of the Norfolk Farmers’ Masonic Lodge and the 92/93 Master Association.

Group chairman Jill Fysh, who accepted the cheques from Mr Cox, said: “The exercise classes are a really practical way of helping people to help themselves. When you have an on-going condition like osteoporosis it is important to learn ways of coping otherwise you might become too dependent on others. We want to continue these classes and the extra funding will help us do that.”

Anyone interested in finding out more should contact exercise co-ordinator Barbara Blacklock on 01553 672527.
