A headteacher says pupils and staff are working hard to lift a school out of special measures.
Jill Davis has praised the team at Terrington St John Primary School following a monitoring visit by Ofsted inspectors in January.
Inspector Paul Tomkow said the school is making reasonable progress towards the lifting of special measures, imposed in April last year.
Speaking after the monitoring visit Ms Davis said: “We are working very hard and hoping to get special measures lifted as soon as we can. We are making the right level of progress.
“Staff are working hard and the children are focused on their learning”
