Plans to build dozens of new homes on an old industrial site will go before borough councillors next week.
A total of 33 properties are envisaged for the site next to Gayton Mill, on Litcham Road.
And officers say the plans should be approved by members of the West Norfolk Council planning committee next Monday, September 1, subject to legal agreements relating to affordable housing provision being completed within three months, or refused if that does not happen.
The application has already been supported by parish councillors, though they say a footpath should be installed from the site into the village.
They have also called for improvements to be made to the junction of the B1145, the B1153 and Back Street.
However, the applicants have proposed to widen existing paths and make a financial contribution towards the cost of improvements to the junction of Lynn Road and East Walton Road.
