Musicals are the theme for the annual Hunstanton Carnival, which takes place tomorrow, Sunday, June 29.
A new committee, chaired by town councillor Steve Ellis, has taken over the organisation of the event, after the previous committee stepped down following last year’s event.
Mr Ellis said: “It’s been a push but it’s been fun. It’s a learning curve.”
The event will be officially opened at 11am, though a range of fundraising and commercial stalls will be open on the Green from 10am.
The main carnival parade, led by the Cambridgeshire Caledonian Pipe Band, will leave the recreation ground at 1pm and arrive at the Green at 1.30pm.
And there will be a host of performers on the main stage, including award-winning ventriloquist Conor Blake, the Rollason stage school and the Hunstanton Community Choir.
