At the last rehearsal of Hunstanton Community Choir, a raffle took place in aid of Neurofibramotosis (NF) Awareness Month and raised more than £220.
Chris Dale, a long term member of the choir, said: “NF is a genetic disorder which has a wide variety of symptoms.
“These include lesions, curvature of the spine, vision and learning problems and even epilepsy. In common with many conditions, public awareness is an issue, and to help with this, May has been chosen as NF awareness month. As I have suffered with this for over 25 years – I was diagnosed at 14 – I decided to help with this by organising a raffle.
“I would like to thank everyone who has donated prizes and bought tickets, especially my friends in the choir”.
