Want to be the next JK Rowling or at least express yourself a little better in words? Then a new creative writing course could help you.

The course got under way on Wednesday at Hunstanton Heritage Centre on The Green in the heart of the town and will run for two hours every Wednesday morning for the next five weeks.

Tutor Sue Burge said: “As soon as I saw the Heritage Centre in Hunstanton I knew it would be the perfect venue in which to teach creative writing and I’m delighted to have such a keen group for this first venture.

“I hope to run more courses here in the future and also day schools on specific themes.

“I so enjoy teaching writing.

“Whenever I run a course I see the participants develop and improve and also surprise themselves!”

Details about taking part in any future course are available from Sue Burge on 01553 692798 or
