A meeting was held at Redgate Junior School in Hunstanton on Tuesday last week to show local residents and parents the proposed new building.
Governors, the designer and Norfolk County Council representatives met with interested parties and looked at the proposed designs of the purpose-built Key Stage 1 classrooms that would accommodate the Infant pupils on the site of the current Junior School.
The designer explained his vision and how he had drawn the plans taking into account the current features of the school. A big consideration, he said, was the ambience of the seaside environment.
Headteacher Nigel Harvey was also present to answer questions and confirmed that he will be happy to do so all throughout the process of the amalgamation.
Norfolk County Council added that it was pleased by the turnout and would consider all comments made by parents and residents.
