Children of Ingoldisthorpe CE Primary School have been helping the food bank.

Headteacher Keith Twaites saw the weekend collection for the Hunstanton and District Foodbank at Sainsbury’s and thought he would like his school to help.

From that Oak Class (Year 5/6) developed produced posters and information for parents asking for donations. The children publicised the event in a sharing assembly with parents present.

Fr John Bloomfield, Rev Geoff Suart, rector of the benefice of Snettisham with Ingoldisthorpe and Fring, and councillor Richard Bird visited the school and the work of the food bank was explained at an assembly where Alec Chalmers played keyboard, Teddy Adams read prayers and Alfie Holmes was the Bible reader.
