A bumper year of archaeological finds across West Norfolk will be celebrated over the weekend.
West Norfolk and King’s Lynn Archaeological Society held digs across the Gaywood Valley during the summer in a bid to learn more about the area’s history and to encourage more people to get involved with the project.
A display of artefacts will be opened in True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum by Dr Mary Chester-Kadwell at 2.30pm today.
On Saturday, a celebration and share event will be held at Marriott’s Warehouse second floor at 7pm.
Posters and artefacts will also be on display from 11am to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday in Marriott’s Warehouse.
