Feeding lambs and grinding flour are some of the activities enjoyed by 4th King’s Lynn Brownies during a visit to Sacrewell Farm, Peterborough.

Youngsters were allowed a private session to see the lambs being fed. There were several cade lambs, all with different personalities, Cliff was definitely their favourite and could be heard above all the others. He was the quickest to finish all this milk.

Brownies then went off to explore the farm where there were so many things to see and do, from having a go at milking a cow to grinding flour in the old mill.

Having seen the peacocks wondering around the farm one decided to join the girls while enjoying a picnic lunch.

The girls also got to say hello to the shire horses, see some calves and piglets.

It was a wonderful day with lots of happy memories for the Brownies to remember.
