KING’S LYNN: Bumper fun on the dodgems - SEE PICS

The Mart opened it's rides for youngsters with special needs, these pupils and helpers from Lynn's Churchill Park.

The Mart opened it's rides for youngsters with special needs, these pupils and helpers from Lynn's Churchill Park.

The half-term break got off to an electrifying start for youngsters from Lynn’s Churchill Park School.

Pupils of the school, which is on the Fairstead estate, have a range of complex and special needs. On Friday morning, they were given a special invitation to enjoy all the fun of the fair at Lynn Mart and were snapped by Lynn News photographer Alan Miller on the dodgems.

The school’s business manager, Elaine Peveritt, said: “We are extremely grateful to the showmen. They have been so good to us over the years. The visit to the Mart really was appreciated by the students. It’s a real high point in their year.”

The Mart opened on Thursday and will remain in town until Saturday (February 23).
