As part of Action for Brain Injury Week, Headway Norfolk and Waveney is holding events to raise awareness of the subject in West Norfolk.

The King’s Lynn group is urging people to take part in a Hats for Headway day on Friday, May 16, where people are asked to wear their finest, silliest or most creative hat to show support for Headway and people affected by brain injury. Members will be joining in, and are inviting local folk to get involved, take a ‘selfie’ in a hat and post it on twitter @NorfolkWHeadway

Rachel Turner, services manager Headway west, said “The intention is to raise awareness in the community of brain injuries and the rehabilitation services Headway provides.”

Headway will also be at Asda South Wootton tomorrow, Wednesday, May 14, between 10am-4pm if people want to say hello and find out more about Headway Norfolk and Waveney.
