A Gaywood councillor has been named as the new opposition leader at West Norfolk Council.

John Collop, who represents the Gaywood Chase ward, has been elected as the Labour group’s new leader, succeeding Jim Moriarty, who resigned last month.

North Lynn councillor Andy Tyler has been elected as Mr Collop’s deputy.
