It’s good to have good neighbours – as the Lynn support group Breathe Easy has found. The group, which holds its monthly meetings at Engage Norfolk Ltd, on the North Lynn Industrial Estate, was delighted to receive a £500 cheque from near neighbours Bespak Ltd.
At a presentation held at Bespak’s offices, the group’s treasurer, Roger Smith, stressed what a huge impact the £500 donation to cover Breathe Easy’s hall hire costs would make to the group.
Future plans for Breathe Easy King’s Lynn were outlined to Bespak’s charity committee members, which included the hope of taking Breathe Easy to a wider community, especially targeting those unable to attend meetings in the town. Bespak will also be providing a guest speaker for the group’s meeting on Monday, September 29. Breathe Easy is the British Lung Foundation’s network of support groups, bringing together people affected by lung disease, their families, friends and carers, delivering vital hope and support when it is needed most and campaigning for better treatment and care.
