Relatives of two men remembered with memorial plaques at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital are being urged to come forward ahead of a re-dedication ceremony later this month.

The plaques, which honour Walter Fuller, who died in 1969, and Alistair Witt, who died in 1980, were in the hospital’s courtyard garden, which now houses the extended accident and emergency unit.

A rededication ceremony for Mr Fuller and Mr Witt will be held at the hospital on Tuesday, June 24 and relatives of both men are being invited to attend.

Any members of Mr Fuller’s and Mr Witt’s families who wish to attend the service are asked to contact the hospital on 01553 613441 or email chaplains@qehkl.nhs.uk with their details.

A similar ceremony for 18-year-old student nurse Lisa Croote, who died at the hospital in 1989, will be held later this year.
