Freebridge Community Housing has been named the 55th Best Not-For-Profit Organisation to Work For in The Sunday Times annual list during a special event in London. The group was also a runner-up in the special Learning and Development award which recognises excellence in delivering employee development. It also achieved a One Star accreditation, meaning it is very good at employee engagement. Tony Hall, chief executive, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that we have placed at number 55 on the Best Not-for-Profit companies to work for list, especially as this is the very first year that we have entered.” Pictured, editor of The Sunday Times, Karen Robinson, presents the award to Mr Hall and Michelle Gant, director of engagement.

“Our placing on the list and the accreditation is very much down to the people who work here who have created a fantastic working environment and I want to thank them for their continued support.

“I am also looking forward to reading the feedback on our entry and identifying even more ways to make Freebridge great for our employees.”
