Staff at JLynn Museum want you to join them to discover how children played in the past. There will be chance to handle real toys and games from the past, including two Victorian china dolls and a First World War model bi-plane.
Visitors can try their hand at a range of fairground games and make a traditional Noah’s Ark toy to take home.
Activities start at 11am and visitors can join in any time until 2pm, with event admission at £2 per person or £1.50 for Friends and Museum Pass Holders.
Also starting today (Tuesday) and continuing to Saturday, August 9 (10am to 5pm) visitors can test their spotting skills at the Beside the Seaside trail around the museum and win a small prize. The trail is included with museum admission.
Both events are free for Children’s University Passport holders.
