Practice development nurse Julia Saunders talks about her joy for the job.

Mrs Saunders has been able to travel the world during her 30 years at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

She has nursed in America and worked with Stephen Fry on a language programme.

Mrs Saunders helps to run programmes in the hospital to help nurses develop along with heading out to the colleges to promote the profession.

She said: “In nursing every day is different. Everything is advancing. What we will be doing in five years time may not even be thought about now.”
