A cheque for £100 was handed over by the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn to two intrepid members of the Stuart House Hotel staff in Lynn who did a tandem skydive for charity last month.

Junior manager Tracey Cleaver completed the challenge as it was an unfulfilled wish of her 18-year-old niece Jessika-Mae Prior, from Lynn, who died of bone cancer. Tracey was joined in the fundraiser at Beccles Airfield on July 16 for the Teenage Cancer Trust by waitress colleague Georgia Madden. The Rotary Club meet at the hotel in Goodwins Road, so when they heard about the event, they pledged a cheque to help Tracey towards her £1,000 target. She is now nearly there with more than £900.
