Lynn-based independent financial advice firm, Mapus Financial Planning Ltd is celebrating after receiving a prestigious award.
The firm, based in Chapel Street, has been awarded the Chartered Financial Planners title by the Chartered Insurance Institute, the world’s largest professional body dedicated to financial services sector.
This is an exclusive title only awarded to firms that can meet rigorous criteria relating to professionalism and ability and confirms that clients can expect the highest quality of service.
John Turner, director of Mapus Financial Planning, is delighted with the CII recognition. He said: “The CII Chartered title is regarded as the gold standard of excellence and integrity for financial advisers and we are proud of our staff for helping the firm achieve this and for the work they do every day to ensure the highest standards of client care.
“Alongside technical ability a key part of our role is to help clients identify and establish a suitable long-term financial planning strategy and to then ensure that this is reviewed regularly. In the current challenging financial and economic climate we feel it is important that clients still have this level of personal and individual service.”
Mapus Financial Planning Ltd has grown consistently since starting to trade in June 2000 and advises clients on an agreed fee basis. It advises on many areas of financial planning including setting and meeting financial planning goals, savings and investments, retirement planning for individuals and businesses, inheritance tax planning, and trusts and trustees.
The board of directors comprises a chartered financial planner, four chartered accountants and a chartered banker and, together with six full-time staff members, the firm has specialist knowledge to serve clients.
Due to the increasing complexity in areas such as pensions and investments, the firm has seen significant growth in the demand for its services from other professional firms, individuals, trusts and corporate clients.
