Youngsters from the 1st Fairstead Kings Lynn Rainbows and 17th Fairstead Kings Lynn Brownies.

Crafts and sleep-overs are some of the exciting activities planned for these creative youngsters.

Members of the 1st Fairstead King’s Lynn Rainbows with 17th Fairstead King’s Lynn Brownies are pictured at one of their weekly meetings.

The eight Rainbows, are aged between five and seven, have had fun celebrating the Chinese New Year. As it is the Year of the Horse they have enjoyed painting pictures of horses and making Chinese lanterns during their last meeting. They are also working towards the Big Brownie Birthday badge.

While the nine Brownies, who are aged between seven, are working towards their creature comfort challenge badge and the friend to animal badge over the coming weeks.

An animal-themed movie night and pebble bugs are also on the agenda.

Later in the term, both the Rainbows and Brownies will be getting together for a sleep-over.

Both units have spaces available and are keen to find new members to join the Monday meetings in Fairstead Community Centre. Rainbows meet from 5pm to 6pm while Brownies are from 5pm to 6.30pm.

If you would like to have fun and join them please contact Sheila Fysh on 01553 672639.
