A Lynn charity’s work to fund brain tumour research has been boosted by a £1,000 donation from the town’s Round Table.

The money was presented to Red Wellies – the charity set up in memory of Lisa Wiles, who died from a brain tumour in October 2011 – and was in memory of Rosie Amos, who was a friend of Lisa’s. Charity founder Mervyn Wiles, pictured above third left, thanked the group for their support as he accepted the donation alongside vice-chairman Jo Rust.

The cheque was presented during the Round Table’s fundraising weekend at the Norton Hill light railway in Snettisham by branch chairman Amrinder Chana, with fellow members looking on. MLNF14AF08141
