Residents and staff of a Lynn care home had a surprise in store when Miss Universe Norfolk paid a them a visit.
Beauty queen Roxy Osborne cut a slimmer figure than expected when she arrived at Goodwins Hall.
The home’s activities organiser, Lynda Barber, said: “We all thought she was going to be more muscly – like Mr Universe.”
Roxy’s visit coincided with a monthly afternoon of adaptive sports activities provided for the residents by Adrian Johnson, of King’s Lynn Sporting Chance.
Mrs Barber said: “Roxy played skittles with 12 of the residents. She got on very well with them and they really liked her. We rarely have young people like her coming in.”
The visit was one of the last of her year-long reign for Roxy, of Cromer, who handed over her crown on Sunday.
