Pupils in West Norfolk have helped their respective schools win cash for educational equipment from Bespak, thanks to their efforts in the Bespak Mini Grand East Anglia Run.

West Norfolk primary schools were offered 150 free places in the Bespak Mini GEAR fun run, to encourage youngsters to take up a healthy and active lifestyle. The places were allocated at 10 per school on a first come, first served basis.

Bespak also offered prizes to primary schools that had the most children participate on the day as a percentage of their school roll. The scheme was promoted and administered by the West Norfolk School Sports partnership on behalf of Bespak GEAR.

St Martha’s RC Primary School has won the first prize of £800 worth of educational equipment, with 65 children taking part on the day, representing 39.1 per cent of their school roll.

Gayton CE VE First School won the second prize of £500 worth of educational equipment with 32 children taking part on the day, representing 25.6% of their roll.

Harpley CE Primary School has scooped the third prize of £200 worth of educational equipment, with 10 pupils taking part, representing 18.1% of their school roll.
