Staff at the Sainsbury’s supermarket in Lynn’s Vancouver Quarter have been supporting the work of PACT (People for Animal Care Trust) animal sanctuary which is based at Hingham, near Wymondham.

Store manager Simon Cross, pictured above back, and PR ambassador Jayne Dix, back left, presented a cheque for £100 to the charity’s founder, Chris Rockingham. Also pictured is her husband George with Romanian rescue dog Ree and sponsor dog Pippin.

The charity, which was set up in 1995, works to rescue, rehabilitate and, where possible, re-home neglected, injured and abandoned animals. It particularly caters for animals that have suffered some form of mental or physical abuse. MLNF14PT01179
