Police cordoned off a section of a Lynn street after a teenage girl was taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds.
Emergency services were called to an address in Windsor Road, which is off Guanock Terrace, at 1am on Monday after a girl suffered minor chest wounds.
The girl, who is in her late teens was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the incident and he has been released on police bail until April 24 while investigations continue.
A statement from the police issued after the incident says: “Police were called by the ambulance service just after 1am on Monday, as paramedics were treating a woman with minor wounds to her chest at an address in Windsor Road in Lynn.
“The woman, in her late teens, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.”
