Vancouver House students at King’s Lynn Academy have raised £500 since September for their chosen House charity the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

Rose Peasgood, from EACH, was presented with the cheque during Vancouver’s House assembly this week by Year 11 Sports Captains, Alex Tweed and Sian Calton, along with student House Leader Zuzanna Rapcia, from Year 10.

Monies were raised from non-uniform days and selling of Christmas cards designed by the students. Students have been supporting this worthy charity for three years now and many staff and students were very moved by the emotive assembly taken by Miss Peasgood which showed the work carried out by the charity to offer support and care to life threatened children and their families across Norfolk.
