Staff at a Lynn supermarket have unveiled their new charity partnership for the coming year.

The team at the Sainsbury’s store in the Vancouver Quarter will be raising funds for West Norfolk Befriending.

The group, which works to tackle the problem of older people being left isolated in the borough, was chosen by a panel of staff, following presentations by itself and another good cause.

The presentations were made after customers were earlier invited to nominate the causes they wanted to support.
