Summer sunshine and fabulous fashions were the order of the day as thousands headed to Fakenham’s racecourse on Sunday for the annual Ladies’ Day meeting.
A fine and warm day brought visitors from as far afield as Holland to the course.
And a host of prizes were on offer to those racegoers who wowed the fashion judges during the afternoon.
The course’s chief executive, David Hunter, was delighted after around 3,600 adults, and many more youngsters who are admitted free, packed into the track for the summer climax to the venue’s National Hunt racing calendar.
Mr Hunter said: “We’re very pleased. It’s the third year of this meeting and we have been blessed with beautiful weather on each occasion.”
