Two Lancaster bombers, one British and one Canadian will take to the skies above West Norfolk this week.

The legendary planes are scheduled to fly over RAF Marham this Thursday as part of a private family and friends day at the base.

The British Lancaster, based with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire and the Canadian plane, which is known as Vera, are expected to appear at dozens of events all over the country over the next few weeks.

Vera has been flown over from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Ontario.
