Four large trolleys full of donations were wheeled from Hunstanton High Street’s Londis store to Hunstanton and District Foodbank after just four hours collecting on Saturday morning.

Volunteers at the Foodbank had identified shortages of certain items before Saturday’s collection and with this list, the Londis management, led by Shilpa Odedra and Caley Kitson, prepared a table of these goods so customers could be encouraged to select them.

Store owner Sanjay Odedra said: “We were very pleased to have the collection here again and glad that we can help local families in need.”
