Thousands of people in receipt of help to pay their council tax have been given a final chance to have their say on planned cuts.
West Norfolk Council is planning to ask for working age people on benefits to make a contribution of 25 per cent towards their council tax where in the past they would have paid nothing.
The council has proposed the change in response to a cut in funding from Government.
Around 13,600 people currently claim the benefit. Pensioners, carers, the disabled and families with young children will be exempt from changes.
A consultation has been launched and will run until Tuesday, November 12.
