Fifteen schools across West Norfolk are either fully or partially closed this morning, Wednesday, March 26, because of a teachers’ strike.

Members of the National Union of Teachers (NUT) are staging a one-day walkout as part of a long-running dispute with the government over pay, pensions and working conditions.

The schools known to be affected are:

Downham Academy - closed to years seven, eight and nine.

Fakenham Academy - closed to years eight, nine and ten.

Fairstead Primary

Gooderstone Primary

Highgate Infant - closed to year two only.

Hilgay Primary - closed to Alpha class all day. Beta class to attend at 12noon. Gamma class to attend as normal.

Kings Lynn Academy - closed to years eight and nine.

Litcham School - closed to years seven, eight and nine.

Marshland High - closed to year ten.

Nicholas Hamond Academy - closed to years seven and eight only.

St Clement’s High - closed to Years nine and ten.

Swaffham Infants

West Winch Primary
