Legendary rockers Status Quo will be performing at Holkham Hall later this month, despite a health scare for guitarist Rick Parfitt, promoters have confirmed.
Mr Parfitt was airlifted back to Britain from Croatia earlier this week following his illness, which forced the cancellation of several of the band’s European tour dates.
However, Live Promotions has today, Thursday, August 7, confirmed that the show on August 23 will go ahead as planned.
Mr Parfitt is recuperating after undergoing emergency surgery at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.
Simon Porter, the band’s manager said: “We are all obviously delighted that Rick has made such rapid progress, especially as the band is shortly to unveil another exciting and innovative new project, details of which will be announced in the next couple of weeks.”
