Man left with facial injuries after mugging in King’s Lynn

A man was left with “substantial facial injuries” after he was punched in the face in a mugging in Lynn.

The attack took place on the iron bridge on Rollesby Road, Hardwick Industrial Estate, between 7.30pm and 8pm on Saturday.

The attacker approached the victim, demanding money, before punching him several times in the face. The victim’s injuries required hospital treatment.

The attacker escaped on foot towards Gaywood with cash, a bank card and mobile phone.

He was white, aged between 20 and 25, wearing a dark hooded top and dark jeans and is believed to have had a foreign accent.
