West Norfolk Mayor, Elizabeth Watson, has officially opened Docking Residential Home’s new wing. In our picture she is seen chatting to one of the residents, Brian Self, and behind from left are owner Raj Sehgal, house manager Clare Pages and architectural adviser Jason Law.
The Mayor, who was presented with a bouquet, talked to patients occupying the 10 new bedrooms – which makes the total now 39 and built to house more residents.
Helen Seaman, the residential home’s operations director, said: “The Mayor was a lovely lady and very kind to our residents. She loved the new wing and thought we had brilliant facilities for the residents.”
A barbecue followed with about 80 people attending.
