West Norfolk borough mayor, Elizabeth Watson, was present to cut the ribbon for the reopened Leziate Village Hall.

The renovation of the hall – which is more than 30 years old – took 10 weeks to complete and was celebrated with a community tea party. The hall now has a unisex toilet, new appliances for the kitchen and new flooring and ceiling. Secretary of the village hall committee, Debbie Ess, said: “Thank-you goes to everyone who helped with fundraising, it would not have happened without you”.
