Mayor praises loving ethos at home in King’s Lynn

The Borough Mayor Councillor Elizabeth Watson visited the Rosedale Childrens' Home in Goodwins Road where she was shown round by the home manager Janet North (left) and Katie Mathunjwa the home deputy manager.

Staff of the Rosedale Childrens’ Home in Goodwins Road, Lynn have been praised for their work by West Norfolk’s Mayor,

Elizabeth Watson.

She is pictured during her visit last Monday where she was shown around by the home’s manager Janet North, left, and deputy manager Katie Mathunjwa.

The home was one of three Mrs Watson visited in the Lynn area and is one of two run by the Break charity, working in partnership with Norfolk County Council.

Mrs Watson praised the work of the charity and the atmosphere of the home, saying: “I was totally impressed. It wasn’t just care, there was love behind it.”

Mrs Watson said that after intially having mixed feelings, she felt very positive and hopeful after the visit.
