Harry and Jack Butcher just want their Scout troop hq in Methwold to provide a little bit of comfort, so they’ve launched an appeal towards repairs.
Leanne Burge, the boys’ mother, said: “It’s falling to pieces! No heating, broken windows, even the roof is leaking.”
The boys have organised several activities to help raise the money, such as bake sales, firework evenings, swimming events and many others. With the help of their leaders, they aim to raise £10,000 by Easter.
So far they are half-way towards their target.
The boys are keen on making it happen and Leanne said: “They absolutely love the Scout troop and they’ve done a fantastic job in their fundraising.
“The children need all the help they can get to keep this place alive.”
