Fire crews on the scene of a major fire in a large historic building opposite Middleton Tower, Station road, Tower End.


Five fire crews, the aerial ladder platform and the control unit for Wymondham were called to a serious fire in a large historic building in Middleton last night.

Emergency services were still there this morning after last night’s blaze in a property opposite Middleton Tower in Tower End, off Station Road.

The fire started at around 8.20pm and took crews, from Lynn, Terrington, Downham, Sandringham and Attleborough, several hours to control and put out.
